About JJ Construction

JJ Construction, having its heritage and history in the field of construction work, all around Theni District, was initially established by Mr. Y. James Maistry, hailing from Mandaikadu, Nagerkovil, Kanyakumari District, settled at Bodinayakanur some 65 years ago, started construction work mainly in the field of erstwhile Cardamom Stores, in cardamom estates in Idukki District, Kerala. He has built hundreds of Cardamom Stores, and are still prevailing and establishing his name and fame. He has in his credit hundreds of buildings like CPA College, Cinema Theatres and residential buildings in Bodinayakanur city. Now that, he has crossed ninety years old and by grace of Almighty, he is hale and healthy and to some extent involved in construction work even today itself, by giving his valuable advices

His main guide lines are, guiding his incumbents M/s. J. Selvin and James D Richard,(son and grandson respectively), who themselves are also Construction Engineers and are totally dedicated themselves in the field of construction.

Mr. J. Selvin, is carrying out this business for the past 35 years and quite a lot of buildings like Educational Institutions, Residential Buildings, Hospitals, Commercial Buildings, Apartments etc are built by him. During his carrier, he himself has achieved completing around 1500 + buildings.

Mr. J. Selvin is also the Chairman of Scism Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Bodinayakanur run by Educational Trust and more than 3000 pupil are having their education in this renowned educational institution. It has its CBSE syllabus also.

He is also one among the founder members of GSR reality, a Land Promoters Company having its business activities like real estate etc.

He is also involved himself in various social activities and has set himself as an inevitable V.I.P. in Theni District.
